Act of commemoration for the recovery of the collective and historical memory of the Sociology of Education

On July the 3rd, members and adherents of AMSE gathered together to hold a meal for the recovery of the historical memory of the sociology of education. The meal lasted for more than six hours and the participants thoroughly discussed historical events and their social context from various perspectives.

Ana Vidu awarded the extraordinary prize upon Master graduation

AMSE’s member Ana Vidu has been awarded the extraordinary prize upon Master graduation in Sociological Research at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Barcelona. Ana Vidu is of Romanian origin and has focused her work on breaking the silence against gender violence at the universities.

12 proposals accepted by AMSE´s members have been accepted at ESA 2013

The next ESA (European Sociological Association) conference “Crisis, Critique and Change” will take place at the University of Turin on August 28th-31st, 2013, and it will include 12 oral presentations by AMSE´s members.
